House of Four Krauses: July Birthday Extravaganza!

The three most important people to me all have birthdays that fall in the same week. It is a pretty crazy and blessed happenstance. (Emily's is July 9, Eliza July 11, and Kevin July 13). This year we celebrated with a big family birthday party that fell on Kevin's actual birthday this year.

Earlier in the week on each of the girls birthdays we did birthday presents from us, sang happy birthday, and ate cupcakes. Emily got a couple princess dresses and a memory game. While Eliza got a car to play with outside. She is very into anything that moves these days. It was great to take time on their individual birthdays to make them each feel special. It is definitely something we will continue to do year in and year out.

The family party was a great time as well. The weather cooperated and wasn't too humid. The kids had fun playing in the jumpy house, sprinkler, and small pool we have. We feel so blessed to have so many of our family members there to help us celebrate. The girls both received mountains of presents and felt the love from everyone. It was a great day but I am pretty happy I don't have to do it again until next year. :)

That night we had a few friends over for a fire and beverages on our patio to celebrate Kevin's birthday. It was a nice low key evening with good friends.

All and all it was a blessed and happy week.
